Master Control Operator

WDAY-TV, the ABC affiliate in Fargo, North Dakota, is looking for a full-time master control operator.

WDAY is looking for a highly motivated individual to work in a live control room environment. Responsibilities include operating state-of-the-art broadcast equipment including automated on-air playback system, satellite-receiving equipment, and server-based media storage systems. Specific duties include setting up satellite dishes and receivers for reception of programming, recording programming and inserting timing information to make it ready for air, and switching live content on- air, which includes live programming, local cut ins or crawls. Candidate should be good with computers, a team player able to work with other departments, and be able to work a variety of hours.
