Primary Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to gain understanding of their business needs
  • Create or adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Manage and ensure compliance with IT structures/processes/technologies
  • Manage and support Risk and Quality business applications
  • Influence or provide input to forecasting and planning activities
  • Understand Technology Roadmap and drive it with Architecture and implement it
  • Oversee Product Engineering delivery teams and manage delivery via delivery leads
  • Continue to support and operationally stabilize RQNS technology assets

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of application development (or support) experience in a large enterprise environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams and/or managing workloads for team members
  • Experience leading development and/or support for large, critical applications (preferably on multiple platforms)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on/building API, UI applications
  • EMR experience
  • Knowledge of Healthcare domain including claims, members and providers
  • Knowledge of Core Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, Log4j, MySQL or Oracle, DevOps, ServiceNow, Splunk, Kafka, OpenShift
  • Knowledge of Azure, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
