Work Location: Fully Remote - U.S Core Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Creates and distributes department wide communications or pathways, notifying staff of updated insurance guidelines/processing information + Identifies and facilitates individual and/or team training needs for new or established team members + Completes and may participate in the delivery of quality reviews for staff development and process improvement + Participate in meetings with Payers, internal departments, Client contact(s) and TES Management, etc. to address trends in denials and/or unprocessed claims + Compile and analyze information identified by A/R Follow Up Supervisors of current and/or potential billing issues specific to outstanding receivable + Presenting data to appropriate parties and partnering to develop resolutions + Assist Supervisor and/or Manager to ensure that daily team operations flow smoothly (i.e., assignment of work, manage deadlines, quality assurance and management of scheduling and staffing issues) + Handles escalated client/patient issues that include but are not limited to unhappy patients/callers and client contacts that may require additional system or technical knowledge + Participates in daily production assignments that will continue to develop understanding and knowledge of processing guidelines and expectations of respective client(s) payer mix + Assist in the responsibility of time and attendance functions + Participate in employee selection process + Provide input in the development of performance appraisal documents; and where appropriate, participate in delivery of disciplinary actions + Other duties as assigned Requirements: + High School Diploma or equivalent + 3-5 years of additional schooling/related work experience; including a minimum of 3 years revenue cycle experience required + Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook + Strong customer service experience Preferred Qualifications: + In depth knowledge of various insurance policies and procedures related to claim adjudication and payment processes. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; drives execution + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Strong attention to detail + Ability to maintain confidentiality + Represents the office/Organization in a positive manner; supports and encourages strong morale and spirit in his/her team. + Can marshal resources to complete tasks and orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish goals + Ability to solve difficult problems in a timely manner with efficient resolutions + Can negotiate skillfully in tough situations; can win consensus without damaging relationships + Works well with others; ability to work with and communicate with individuals of varying disciplines. New York and New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for New York City, NY and Westchester County, NY is $49,450 - $85,920. The salary range for Ithaca, NY is $43,000- $71,600. The salary range for Jersey City, NJ is $51,600 - $85,920.
