Researches, plans, designs, verifies, validates and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems, such as metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, resonance, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs. May be responsible for the transfer from R&D to manufacturing. Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree required Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience Nice to Have Test Method Validation Experience Innovative problem solver Technical Rationale and Report Writing Catheter experience Surgical/Biospsy/Other Medical Device Tool experience Released product support experience CAPA NCMR Complaints Supplier quality issue resolution Familiar with regulations and standards: 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, EU_MDR, ASTMs Strong analytical and problem solving skills Able to lead issue resolution Strong understanding of mfg processes: forming, molding, machining, extruding etc Creative/Innovative Technically Use of analysis tools: FEA, Monte Carlo, Statistical Mechanically inclined Comfortable learning new technology About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
