Position description
Thoroughly cleans assigned areas according to department standards. Demonstrates proper use and care of all equipment and supplies issued by Environmental Services. Disposes of all refuse in the medical center. Assists with room setups and transfer of furniture and fixtures. Maintains safe environment and productive positive working relationship with others.
Mayo Clinic will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years old. Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand English. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting. Shift assignments may be altered to accommodate departmental/customer services.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is not eligible for F-1 OPT STEM extension.
Additional qualifications
One year related health care experience preferred. On the job training will be provided. Demonstrated knowledge of basic hand tools and equipment needed.
License or certification
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance with Mayo Clinic Policy.
