Learners Edge has been a leader in providing distance learning continuing education graduate courses to Pre-K through grade 12 teachers since 2002. Based in Eagan, MN, Learners Edge continues to grow and expand its offerings of professional development services to teachers nationally and internationally. Status: Part-Time Job Description: Currently seeking evaluators with experience in art education and art integration (PK-12), diversity, equity, and inclusion. Learners Edge Course Evaluators provide personalized feedback and evaluation to educators completing online Continuing Education courses, enriching learning and ensuring a positive interaction with Learners Edge. Skill Set: High technology skills navigating features of a Learning Management System, strong attention to detail and accuracy Passionate educators with strong writing and verbal skills Solid organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines Ability to provide helpful feedback to learners Experiences and Education Required:
  • Master's Degree in Education field or equivalent as approved by the Director of C&I 5+ years of Pre-K-12 classroom experience related to the course topic Experience using online teaching and learning systems (e.g., Canvas) Responsible and responsive educator with a strong commitment to supporting teachers and students Currently seeking evaluators with experience in art education and art integration (PK-12), diversity, equity, and inclusion. Must reside in one of the following states: IL, IN, MN, TN, TX, VA Duties: This position is remote, and evaluators grade coursework using their own computer and reliable internet access. Evaluate online coursework submitted by educators completing graduate-level asynchronous Continuing Education courses. Provide meaningful, specific feedback; extend student learning by sharing expertise and additional resources and asking questions for reflection. Evaluate coursework within specified time frames (expected turnaround under 5 days of assignment submission, including weekends) and meet efficiency goals Evaluate all assignments submitted in assigned course(s) in Spring, Summer, and Fall Sessions, understanding that hours worked may vary widely throughout the year due to session timeframes (busiest times are Summer and end-of-session months of April and November) Perform additional evaluation-related tasks as required Current evaluators share their thoughts on working for Learners Edge: "I love working for a company that values its employees and always promotes a welcoming, supportive, and encouraging environment.
