The Distribution Solutions Product Specialist is responsible for executing various support tasks as assigned within the Distribution Solutions Sales and Marketing Department, primarily in accordance with the Product Management Team and supporting our products and technologies. The person in this role will provide support to the Sales team and will work cross functionally with marketing, operations, supply chain, technology, and finance.

Work cross-functionally with Product Management Team, Sales, supply chain, and marketing to vet out and develop new products and collateral. Participate in market research and voice of customer (VOC) efforts when developing new products and/or brands.

Ownership of product lifecycle management (new item set-up, commercialization, & launches), phasing in and out of products, working with the sales team and supply chain to eliminate slow-moving or obsolete inventory.

Maintain consistent product information across multiple platforms (product labels, packaging, product data sheets, safety data sheets, E-commerce, internal systems). Generate and review content for product labels, product data sheets, collateral, and E-Commerce.

Submit New Item Setup forms, Engineering Change Orders, and build-out Bills of Materials as directed with attention to detail and accuracy.

Maintain accurate forecasting and stocking information based on Product Management Team and Sales input. Analyze sales data to drive system changes and to identify products that should be discontinued.

Identify, own, and participate in continuous improvement projects within the division and assist in other divisional projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

Education: 4-year degree with a focus on business, engineering, project management, data analysis, or related field

Experience and/or Training:

Experience/Interests within our target industries is preferred but not required including automotive, on-road fleets, off-road construction, agriculture, and manufacturing

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong organizational and project management skills

Strong analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills required

Proven time management skills and multi-tasking ability

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work on cross-functional teams

Advanced Excel Skills: formulas, accounting, trends, pivot tables, etc.

Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
