Job Description

Red Wing Shoes is seeking a Demand Planner to support our Irish Setter brand. The Demand Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate demand plans, incorporating historical trends and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, new product development, customers, and other sources.

The essential duties and responsibilities include operational forecasts, sales inventory and operations planning (SIOP), and product lifecycle planning and inventory.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university, with at least two years of demand planning or forecasting/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Forecasting certification is preferred.

Qualified candidates should have strong computer literacy, with knowledge of technology that enables effective demand planning (Logility, JDA, SAP, etc.); Strong analytical aptitude and demonstrated analytical skills; Business acumen, knowledge of forecasting methodology; Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail; Critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills; Demonstrated ability to openly communicate with people at all levels of the organization, through effective written and oral communication skills; Aptitude to lead via influence with demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills; Results orientated with a bias toward action; Ability to execute tactically including managing competing priorities effectively, task and time management; Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel

This role is a hybrid work arrangement, both onsite in Red Wing, MN and remote work.
