Description
1. Design, stake and coordinate projects to meet standards, specifications and all applicable codes
2. Prioritize work to ensure system designs result in a reliable, cost effective distribution system
3. Operate computer software applications to aid in preparing construction work orders
Maintain job notes, statuses and other information
4. Communicate effectively with and between internal and external customers
5. Meet with customers as necessary to address concerns and questions
6. Interpret construction plans and design to avoid conflict with other utilities and proposed construction work
Requirements
Two-year technical degree in Electrical Technology, GIS, Project Management, Business, Construction or related field AND Two plus years' of experience in electrical utility design
OR
Four-year Bachelor's degree in GIS, Project Management, Construction, Business or related field
Working knowledge of MS Office, and related systems
Highly effective communication and innovative problem solving skills
Current and valid Minnesota driver's license
