Painter - 2nd Shift

We are searching for an experienced Painter - 2nd Shift at our Mankato, MN facility.

Core Schedule is Monday - Thursday 4:45 pm - 3:15 am with overtime on some Fridays.
This role will work with Area Leads to complete paint application from paint preparation to final finish stages to meet production timelines. They will work closely with Area Leads and Production Manager to ensure department standards and schedules are met.

Summary of Duties:

Review and understand project specifications.
Inspect for final prep, load, and unload paint and paint supplies, ensuring color and finish tolerances are met.
Monitor paint and supply inventories and notify Lead of replenishment needs.
Perform quality assurance checks throughout processes.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate with demonstrate ability to learn new tasks and concepts quickly.

Preferred qualification of 1 year of experience in industrial or auto body painting.
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds frequently.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to execute on SOP, quality, and safety practices.
Part of the PPE for this role requires use of a respiratory. Selected individual(s) will need to successfully complete fit testing requirements.
The role requires proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workflow effectively to accomplish deadlines.
Good communication skills.
