About the role:
As a Trust Tax Manager, you will manage activities within area of expertise through individual contributors and/or managers to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual tax liabilities for multiple legal entities across multiple jurisdictions are met in a timely and accurate manner.

What you will be doing?
  • Develops, leads, manages and motivates staff.
  • Ensures accurate and timely preparation and filing of federal, state and local tax returns as well as all other areas of tax compliance in adherence with applicable tax laws.
  • Develops policy, governance, and standards.
  • Maintains current knowledge of tax laws, updates and revisions and informs senior management of issues affecting FIS.
  • Anticipates potential tax filing conflicts and resolves before returns are filed, i.e., acquisitions, fixed purchase option leases, etc.
What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Remain knowledgeable on current tax regulations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a management role
  • 5-10 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in fiduciary tax reporting for trusts
