We have an opportunity for a Structural Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician in the Structures Division at our Brookfield, WI location.


Structural BIM Technician Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops structural models based on provided layouts and sketches using Revit and occasionally in AutoCAD
  • Prepares construction drawings from Revit models under the direction of engineers
  • Revises models and drawings to conform with engineering and architectural changes and ensure they are accurate
  • Communicates changes and/or conflicts between Architectural and Structural models
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of structural engineering concepts
  • Coordinates work with Project Managers, Engineers, Surveyors, Architects and other BIM and Engineering Technicians
  • Adheres to divisional and corporate BIM and CAD standards
Requirements:

Structural BIM Technician Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in drafting technologies from an accredited school and a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience with Revit and AutoCAD or a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in the A/E field with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Experience in Navisworks and BIM Collaborate/360 is considered a plus
