ECFE Parent Educator

Description: Roseville Area Schools is seeking applicants for a part time Parent Educator for Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE). The Parent Educator will facilitate parent education groups which are part of the ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) parent/child classes. Ideal candidates will be skilled in leading group processes/discussions and have experience planning and developing lesson plans that support parenting education learning standards. The candidate should also have knowledge about child development, parenting and behavioral strategies and have a thorough understanding of family systems and parent-child relationships. The position is approximately 6 - 18 hours per week to include 2 - 3 mornings and/or 1 - 2 evenings and some Saturday mornings. There is the possibility of additional hours as a home visitor and/or a substitute teacher. The start date is January 9, 2023. Qualifications: Minnesota Parent and Family Education teaching license is required. Starting Pay Range: $30.88 - 38.58 per hour, depending on experience and education (see attached salary matrix).
