Cook Assistant (PM)

Position Information

Join NDSU Dining and help feed the herd! Located in the heart of NDSU's campus, enjoy state-of-the art facilities and a fun, lively environment. Our cook assistants help create the culinary experience by preparing and serving food for NDSU students, faculty, staff and guests. In addition, this position will assure food safety protocols are met in the food production and service areas, as well as maintaining equipment used at workstations. In this position, you're guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10 paid holidays, plus paid vacation and sick time. Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 12:30 pm to 9:00pm. This position will be required to work a weekend rotation. Hours will vary during school breaks and summer.

Advertised Salary: $17.50/hr + DOE Includes comprehensive benefit package

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year experience in a food service operation
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food Safety Certified
