- Installs and maintains local area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring.
- Research new hardware and software technologies. Coordinates third-party maintenance for network hardware and software services.
- Implementing policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and configuration.
- Contact software and hardware vendors to engage vendor support engineers regarding malfunctioning or defective products. Works with vendors for incident support as well as determining appropriate solutions to meet corporate needs.
- Perform proactive network status checks as part of normal surveillance activities, ensuring optimal security and performance.
- Ensure network security meets regulatory and compliance requirements. Identify and troubleshoot network and security gaps and take the appropriate course of action to minimize risk exposure and service interruption.
- Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, servers, workstations, VPNs, VOIP phone system and other physical hardware.
- Communicates and coordinates network schedule, backups, and downtime to users.
- Verifying backups and restoring files as needed for employees.
- Quickly diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of network issues, from end-host connectivity to traffic flows, with root cause analysis for reporting and the goal of future improvements
- Manage incident/tickets to ensure timely resolutions.
- Constantly innovating and improving our infrastructure and processes.
- Manages process documentation and standards to ensure that documentation is correct and up to date. This includes verifying and reviewing documentation maintained in online sources.
- Trains less experienced associates on IT support processes and tools and identify additional training opportunities as needed.
- Research warnings, errors and reported issues to determine the root cause; prepare action plans; and document, test and implement solutions.
- Maintain workstation, peripheral devices, network documentation and equipment inventory.
- Responsible for the maintenance and overall health of all Windows systems as needed.
- Provides support for office renovations and moves as necessary.
- Provides technical support to all users.

Required knowledge and skill sets:
- Hyper-V
- Cisco Meraki experience
- VPN
- LAN
- WAN
- TCP/IP
- MS Office
- Datacenter networking
- SD-WAN routing with MPLS circuits.
- Routing and switching knowledge.
- Be well versed in Microsoft Office 365 administration.
- Well versed in SharePoint
- Website knowledge
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Language Skills: Ability to speak fluent English. Ability to read, write and comprehend in English instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees of the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents and interact with co-workers.
Typical Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and some lifting. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers and other office equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to moderate.
