Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Meridian team  as our new  Clinical Services Director (Director of Nursing).

Nurses at Edgewood Healthcare enjoy:
  • Family-friendly flexible scheduling
  • An environment to sharpen your skills with a wide variety of care planning
  • A beautiful and home-like workplace setting

As the Clinical Services Director, you set the tone for the entire clinical department.  You manage the managers, and you help them become better leaders for their people.  You enjoy the mentorship aspects of leadership, never getting bored with showing a new CNA a better way of doing things.  Residents, families, care staff and peers look to you to provide clinical information and direction.  Our Regional Nurse Directors rely on you to give input and help implement new policies and procedures.  Your Executive Director relies on your sound judgment, clinical expertise, outstanding time management and proactive communication.  Your partnership is crucial for the success of the building and the health and safety of our residents.

You'll be surrounded by like-minded professionals every day.  We've worked hard to create an infrastructure of support to provide continuum of care for our seniors:  in addition to care staff, in many of our buildings you'll be working alongside other nurses, physical and occupational therapists, home health and hospice teams, nurse practitioners and more!  Stay sharp collaborating with a team of healthcare experts to provide the best care possible for our residents.

Edgewood Healthcare operates Assisted Living and Memory Care communities throughout the upper Midwest, and we are proud that nearly 4,000 seniors in seven states call our communities their home.  You'll be proud to work in a beautiful and home-like setting with our residents every day.  And you'll have the privilege and opportunity to really get to know your residents over a long period of time.  This makes your help and care even more meaningful for everyone involved and you get to go home each day feeling fulfilled.  We need caring nurses like you - apply today!

Minimum Requirements

  • Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Bachelor of Nursing, preferred
  • 3+ years of healthcare supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with Assisted Living, geriatric care or dementia a plus
  • Comfort with computer charting or willing to learn
  • Able to effectively collaborate with a team
  • Ability to direct care staff
  • Passion and drive to help others!

At Edgewood, vaccinations are a choice.

We offer a competitive salary along with full-time and part-time benefits packages for employees.

**Edgewood maintains a drug-free work environment and offers of employment are contingent upon successfully completing and passing a drug/alcohol test and a background check.
