Job Skills / Requirements Pay: $19.00/ Hour Requires a DL and dependable vehicle Full time Flex security Officer Full Time Fri-Sat 5AM-1PM Sun-Mon 1PM- 9:30PM Full time Sun- Thurs 5AM- 1PM Responsibilities: More of a loss prevention job than a security job. We check vehicles in and give directions as to where their product is in the lumber yard. When they come to exit, we check to make sure that the product that they purchased is in fact the product that they have in their vehicle or trailer. Loss Prevention Checking orders and counting purchased product Computers Hand held computers used, must have good understanding of computers Product Knowledge Generally, good knowledge of the building industry and construction is required. Walking Can be very busy in the summer months, a lot of walking required on Concrete is required. Communication A lot of interaction with the public, must be able to communicate well Why Work For Us? Tuition Reinbusment (full time employees, after 6 months of service up to $1000 per semester) Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security Warn violators of premise rules and regulations Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts Report any facility issues Request emergency personnel for high risk situations Position Requirements: Qualifications: 18 years of age or older Familiarity with security equipment Ability to handle physical workload Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
