Job Details
This is a school term, job level 9 ($24.89-$25.25), 7.25 hours/day (7:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. position at Gene Dillon Elementary School and Bemidji Middle School. Candidates must have completed an approved Certification or Associate Degree program as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
A speech language pathology assistant (SLPA) is responsible for providing direct, indirect, and consultative speech/communication therapy services in accordance with a student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). The speech language pathology assistant (SLPA) also adapts school and classroom environments, tools, and materials in collaboration with the Speech Language Pathologist to improve student communication.
Applicants must have two years of study at an institution of higher education (AA, AS, 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits). Applicants must submit transcripts with the completed application to be considered for the position.
