Description
This is a grant funded position, the purpose of which is to handle the day-to-day implementation of the HRSA funded GPE grant. These day-to-day specified activities (as indicated in the grant work plan): Coordinate scheduling with Interprofessional Health Education (IPHC) partners, coordination and scheduling of Interprofessional Consultation Team; Ensuring Student assignments are completed and competencies are verified; ensuring faculty development is completed, working with content consultation and ensure curriculum revisions are implemented and sustained for the life of the project (this is a significant component of the position); providing clinical placements and oversight (as needed) to support trainee clinical development, Implement and help to evaluate recruitment strategies, contribute to project reporting; other duties as they arise.
The GPE Grant Manager position is housed within the Counseling Psychology Doctoral Program, as this program is the recipient of the grant. The grant manager will report to a senior faculty with the counseling psychology program, who is the PI for the grant.

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordination of Doctoral Student GPE Training
Coordination of training advancement in the areas of integrated care and substance use disorders and treatment, especially though curriculum review and updates of all doctoral counseling psychology courses, and by assisting and assuring faculty development in these areas.
Contribute to HRSA GPE report Writing

- Scheduling, technology (zoom, teams, Word, blackboard, Excel)
Coordination of Doctoral Student GPE Training
- Coordinate and schedule Interprofessional Consultation Team
- Ensure student assignments are completed and competencies are verified (utilizing Blackboard or similar technology)
- Work with content consultant and ensure curriculum revisions are implemented and sustained for the life of the project
- Provide supervision as needed to support trainee clinical development
- Implement and help to evaluate recruitment strategies
Coordination of training advancement in the areas of integrated care and substance use disorders and treatment, especially though curriculum review and updates of all doctoral counseling psychology courses, and by assisting and assuring faculty development in these areas.
- Ensure faculty professional development is completed (initiate IHC professional development for faculty, ensure it's completion)
- Review all syllabi of doctoral level courses, make suggestions for readings and trainings related to integrated care and substance use disorder/treatment throughout the counseling psychology program curriculum
Contribute to HRSA GPE report Writing
- Assist with data collection and tracking
- Assist with report writing
Required Competencies
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and competence in basic technology (including that needed for telehealth)
Minimum Requirements
- Experience managing grants or working in medical or mental health environments
- Experience with graduate education related to mental health and/or substance abuse
- Successful completion of criminal history records check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Integrated Health Care
