Job Information

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will oversee all inventory transactions in our ERP and MES systems and support our goal of 100% inventory accuracy.

Role & Responsibility

Oversee Inventory Transactions
  • Perform cycle counts at the plant level
  • Perform cycle counts at offsite locations in which the material is Bobcat’s responsibility
  • Reconcile actual inventory against records and determine root causes for variances
  • Advise the appropriate functional areas of inventory adjustments as necessary
  • Oversee the operations of tracking all inventories by location and status
  • Responsible for assisting training of material handlers and others on performing cycle count activities and procedures
  • Provide support to PPIC, BUSCL, PCA, Bulk warehouse and Finance on reconciling inventory (monthly/quarterly/yearly)
  • Perform receiving responsibilities as directed 


Job Requirement

  • Any Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Good understanding in Inventory Control, Logistics, Supply Chain, Distribution, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis
  • Candidate in this position should excel in internal and external customer service
  • 0>2 years experience
  • Less than 10% travel

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
