Job Overview:

The Director FP&A role is responsible for leading the Pricing Analytics and Customer Profitability FP&A team supporting business leaders in understanding sales and gross margin performance associated with pricing models, customer transactions, new business opportunities, and customer profitability reporting. The scope includes leadership of forecasting, budgeting, reporting, analytics, and project management in support of customer sales and margins; along with leadership of customer pro forma/P&L development. The role will provide strategic thought leadership and support for Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer and Chief Customer Officer.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provides strategic business partnership and thought leadership to Executive level leaders.
  • Responsible for oversight of key budgeting, forecasting, reporting and structured analytics processes.
  • Leads and motivates teams to drive efficiencies within owned processes while also improving value of work.
  • Partner with other Finance leaders to effectively manage resource time to assist in the completion of key project-related deliverables.
  • Create and manage detailed work plans that provide visibility to key Finance and Accounting leadership for the multitude of competing projects and assist in the development of risk and remediation plans.
  • Explore new functionality and provide recommendations to Accounting and Finance leadership for opportunities to enhance the collective processes and procedures.
  • Reviews and provides analytical insights and communications associated with the Customer Transactional Margin results for each reporting period.
  • Oversight and leadership of Customer Pro Forma process and development of Customer Specific P&L's.
  • Interacts with key stakeholders to effectively communicate results and coordinate changes in process based on evolving business needs and changes.
  • Performs other relevant job duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • MBA, and/or CPA preferred.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive Finance-related experience.
  • Wholesale distribution or retail experience preferred.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Wholesale or retail industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to partner with a multitude of key stakeholders across all functions of the business.
  • Clear and effective communicator with an ability to simplify messaging of complex transactions and topics.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance a fast-paced, evolving business that is change-oriented and focused on growth initiatives.
  • Purpose-driven leader focused on efficient processes and execution to drive sustainable productivity and value to the broader organization.
  • Dynamic leader who invests in the development and mentorship of staff to enhance the collective talent of the organization.
  • Ability to lead through a complex and challenging technology transformation to improve scale and efficiencies across the organization.

Compensation

Pay Range: $114,300 - 220,500 Annually ($54.95 - 106.01 Hourly)

Other Compensation: Bonus Eligible
