Overview Long story short, you have the verbs, we will teach you the nouns. You know how to lead, we will teach you how to apply what you already know. This position is on the fast track path to being a Project Manager within clinical research. You will spend 18-24 months learning about clinical research while having various levels of our Project Manager leadership team provide mentorship along the way - Many of whom are from a military background. Upon completion of this program, you will become part of that mentorship program! As an Associate Project Manager, you will learn how to assume project management tasks in a new environment. This role intentionally starts with basic tasks that provide the foundation for you to learn and grow. Our Veteran mentors understand your capabilities and are charged with providing you opportunities for exposure to clinical research project management. Together with your mentor, you will develop the core project management skills needed for a career in Project Management. What will you be doing? + Assumes project management tasks as assigned by the study project manager / project director with the final approval of deliverables completed by the study project manager / project director. + Manages internal and client project reporting. Generates and reviews reports for accuracy to facilitate project status and financial reporting. Completes system updates and queries. + Supports project manager with financial tasks. Has oversight of purchase order process including creating and processing purchase orders and processing study invoices. May process Investigator payments. + Organizes study information and supplies. Generates and maintains organizational charts, team calendar, newsletters, mass mailings, project-specific information including but not limited to: process flow charts, contact lists, holiday lists, study website, mailing labels. Tracks, dispatches and maintains study supplies following applicable company processes. + May support preparation of study files by maintaining and distributing project documents. Ensures documents within the electronic trial master file comply with filing/naming guidelines and have the correct status. + Uses the learning management system to assign project specific training to team members and tracks training compliance. + Organizes project team and client meetings including scheduling, creating meeting materials, binders, agendas and meeting minutes, etc. What do you need to have? + Bachelor's degree (in business, finance, health sciences, or related field preferred) + Military background, 10+ years preferred (separating or separated from the military within 6 months highly preferred) + 3+ years' experience in Project Management required + Strong Leadership experience required + PMP is a plus + To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status Benefits of Working in ICON: Our success depends on the quality of our people.
