As a Marketing Specialist for Email Marketing, you will collaborate with the Marketing Manager for Email Marketing in order to execute on the planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis, and reporting of email and direct mail campaigns for Bobcat. In this position, you have shared accountability for results of email and direct mail campaigns and will help to manage all aspects of the programs. You will partner with the Marketing Manager for Email Marketing to evangelize and educate marketing and sales teams of the email and direct mail mission, best practices, and opportunities. 

 

This position is open to Minneapolis, MN and offers a hybrid work arrangement working 3 days per week at the office and 2 days per week from home/remote. 

Role & Responsibility

  • Optimize email marketing plan including email marketing calendar, promotion campaign schedule, etc. based on business needs
  • Email campaign production and end to end email marketing campaigns and triggered/automated initiatives, including contact frequency
  • Development of detailed technical and data project specifications for email marketing success
  • Email campaign performance reviewing, evaluating and analysis; shared accountability for measurement, reporting and forecasting of email campaign results
  • Identify enhancements opportunities to maximize ROI and improve practices. Evaluation index will include open rate, click-through-rate and conversion rate of commercial email, as well as revenue growth driven by email marketing
  • Comply with industry rules and regulations governing commercial email communication (CAN-SPAM)
  • Communicate with marketing planners on all elements of performance of email initiatives


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in email and/or digital marketing
  • Familiarity with HTML coding 
  • Experience managing Direct Mail programs a plus 
  • Proven email execution experience for direct to customer and business to business audiences
    • Email segmentation campaign tactics with a customer first mindset
    • Optimization through extensive testing strategies around targeting, content, frequency
    • Custom analysis, reporting and insights
  • Proven experience related to the following: 
    • Performance based, direct response marketing 
    • Test and learn best practices
    • Execution with data management platforms
    • Email platforms preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Exceptional and demonstrated analytical skills, critical thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
