Description & Details:

An Academic Assistant position is available in the Department of Psychology at North Dakota State University. Duties associated with this position include performing departmental receptionist responsibilities, performing departmental administrative activities, providing faculty support, scheduling and event coordination, and other activities as assigned.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Advertised Salary: $38,000+/year commensurate with experience

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or directly related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Ability to contribute to a professional and teamwork environment in a positive, flexible manner
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized
  • Attention to detail
  • Process orientated
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with sensitive data and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate and work well with people of diverse populations
