The Role

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will drive our mission by working with employees across the business to ensure FCC is a great place to work for all. Our team achieves results by being innovative, driven, collaborative and trustworthy. This role is both hands-on and strategic, and provides expertise in the areas of talent acquisition, employee retention & development, communications and projects as necessary. FCC’s HR team is passionate about their work and helps deliver positive change every day.

Areas of focus include:

Talent Acquisition

 

  • Sets direction for short and long term initiatives to attract talented applicants. Performs candidate sourcing as needed
  • Manages recruitment and hiring by guiding potential applicants and new hires through the hiring process
  • Facilitates new hire orientation for new employees
  • Design and implement onboarding program/process

 


Communications

 

 

  • Works in collaboration with others to communicate important updates to employees
  • Facilitates communication and engagement efforts for company wellness initiatives

 


Employee Retention and Engagement

 

 

  • Design tools to help Supervisors build a strong connection to team
  • Create a supportive environment and communication process where employees feel comfortable sharing ideas and issues.
  • Formulate partnerships with management and advise employees and supervisors about company initiatives, policies, and benefits
  • Engage with employees to understand the overall pulse of the organization and identify opportunities to create a culture of increased employee engagement

 


Position Requirements:

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related area.
  • 5 or more years of human resource experience in a professional environment, preferably in talent acquisition.
  • Deep knowledge of talent acquisition programs and experience with candidate sourcing efforts.
  • Strong passion for talent acquisition and retention
  • Professional HR certification desired.
  • Ability to travel on occasion.
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Infectious energy.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Approach challenges with a solution mindset-ability to influence.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments across the organization.
  • Proficient with computers and able to quickly learn various software programs, including HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by the company.
  • Must carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company.
