The Lead Crude Oil Trader for Equinor U.S. Operations LLC in Houston, TX will be responsible for the exposure of the USGC trading book and to unlock potential for further value generation, using derivatives and working closely with physical traders. This activity includes both onshore and waterborne activity, including daily spot trading export / import cargoes, and coordinating export terminal positions, trading of Gulf of Mexico equity production, including Mars and Poseidon for export, coordinating the Eagle Ford / Corpus Christi activity, as well as Permian volume aggregation and pipeline arbitrages. Consider price risk within defined Value-at-Risk limits. Generate substantial added value, above structural value of the trading book. Build new sustainable profitable business of strategic value to Equinor. Work closely with our risk managers, operations staff, chartering and shipping staff, as well as market analysts. Conclude contracts and implement business. Set daily/short-term trading tactics. Initiate and lead market discussions. Interface frequently with Equinor's global crude trading managers and chief trader and will together with the other global segment leads be responsible for implementing key priorities for Equinor's global trading activity. Domestic and international travel is required, up to 15%.
