The Four Seasons Resort Nevis is looking for suitable qualified applicants to fill the position of Mechanic. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Director of Engineering. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has been ranked FORTUNE magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work BASIC PURPOSE: A complete working knowledge of all golf maintenance equipment, golf carts and transportation vehicles. The ability to maintain and repair all systems of these units including gasoline engines, diesel engines, brakes, steering clutches, air conditioning, hydraulics, cutting units, pumps and any other mechanical related disciplines. must be physically and mentally capable of making accurate, precise and sound decisions. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS INVOLVED: Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and has preventive maintenance performed on it as scheduled by the Mechanic Supervisor. Assist golf leaders in educating and training the equipment operators in proper utilization of equipment. Maintain consistent records as to repair tickets, labour spent on repairs, correct machine number, and date of repairs. Ensure that the shop is kept in a clean and safe condition at all times. Inform the Engineering Managers of any problems with equipment or within the shop area.
