Job Functions:

  • Applies sound drafting principals and standards in the creation of drawings and related documents for utility substation or transmission line designs using Autocad and/or Microstation
  • Make revisions to existing drawings using Autocad and/or Microstation
  • Assures all project deliverables meet the technical requirements of the project
  • Assists in the performance of quality review of all project documents
  • Work with Supervising Engineers, Design Supervisor, and Project Managers to make sure projects are completed on schedule and within project budget
  • Perform Project Close-Out and As-Built revisions
  • Assures all project documents are properly entered into and managed by the document management system


Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in CAD, Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar or related field.
  • Sound knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Ability to interact successfully with all levels of staff, clients and vendors. Able to work in a collaborative process.
  • Attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Dedication to completing a project on schedule is essential. Efficient use of time is critical. Willingness to work to meet deadlines as required by client demands.


Candidates will be placed in the appropriate job title based on education, years of experience and industry knowledge.
