JBC Commercial Real Estate Company in Fargo is hiring an Office Manager. We are looking for an individual who is positive and energetic to join our team.  This position involves having strong communication skills, working with different types of personalities, and assisting the President/Vice President on a daily basis. We are looking for individuals who have experience in the following areas:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in an office setting

The ideal candidate for this position is dependable, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and is a team player.

Summary

Our successful Office Manager will ideally have experience in office administration. They’ll be highly organized, energetic, process-oriented and people savvy. They will enjoy working independently and collaboratively, be focused and able to juggle multiple priorities. They will also bring great care, integrity, optimism and customer service to all they do. This role works independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with our Commercial Real Estate Agents.

Responsibilities

The Office Manager will provide general administrative support to the JBC Commercial Real Estate team. They will be the go-to person for all things administrative at the office, including but not limited to; clerical and receptionist duties, lockbox management, MLS listing management and tracking inventory of signage, ordering of general office supplies, tools, and making bank deposits.  They will organize and prioritize tasks independently and with discretion while maintaining confidentiality.  Process outgoing and incoming invoices, pay bills in a timely manner and maintain basic financial reporting.

 

The Office Manager will create and publish listing brochures for 10-15 agents, maintain accuracy of listings, manage the sign ordering and listing/closing files.

They will maintain agent files, ensure everyone is up to date on certifications, licenses, etc., and respond to record requests.

Other responsibilities include:

Serve as liaison with the IT vendor, website developer, Real Estate boards, sign company, etc. Serve as our receptionist with great customer service skills. Work to continuously improve our systems and processes. Prepare materials and documents for annual audits. Work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies. Additional duties as assigned, this position reports directly to the President and Vice President

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in office management

Competency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite

Comfortable working with real estate MLS programs and 3rd party applications

Excellent verbal and written communication

Real Estate experience is preferred but not required

High School Diploma and authorization to work in the US is required

This is a flexible 2/3 time position working Monday – Friday.

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications
