Civil Field Engineer

Description: You will oversee and manage the construction administration phase. Directs Construction Administration activities on projects, and monitors projects for construction document compliance. Works with PM to establish project procedures and implement them in the field. Performs observation and materials testing of projects with little supervision. Receives and distributes test reports. Prepares punch list and close-out procedures and performs post-construction services and investigations as needed. These projects will be for the DOT, so having 2 years of experience inspecting civil engineering projects including concrete, asphalt, bridge, storm, and sanitary sewer; experience on Federal projects is a plus. Skills: Construction Administration, DOT, Inspection, Project management Additional Skills & Qualifications: 2 or 4-year degree preferred SDDOT Tech Certs in asphalt and concrete inspection and earthwork are preferred but not required ACI Field Concrete certification preferred Valid Drivers License About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
