As a Structural Design Technician Senior part of our Appleton, Wisconsin team, you will perform and solve complex problems of a recurring nature and propose improvements to processes and methods on industrial projects at facilities in consumer products, pulp & paper, foundry, power & utilities, grains, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, wind tunnels, warehouse data distribution, electronics, chemical, gas & oil, and industrial structures. You will develop designs that require innovation and ingenuity. The designer works independently within established procedures and practices. As part of multi-discipline project teams, you will have Lead Designer responsibilities including leading a team of Designers in the performance of a variety of tasks that are often routine. We will lean on you to provide technical guidance to colleagues with less experience. We will tap into your talents as you work with clients, team members, and other disciplines in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Here's What You'll Need: + Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Drafting and Design Technology, Architectural Technology - Associate Degree, or a related degree from an accredited Technology Program with curriculum including basic computer aided drafting design in Structural and Architectural concepts + Proficient with Revit + 10 years of structural CADD experience + Complete understanding of how to read drawings + Word and Excel experience + Navisworks and Bluebeam experience Ideally, you will also have: + AutoCAD experience + Self-driven time management and organizational skills Travel: Typical travel requirement to various client's sites for this role is estimated at 10% of the time.
