Electrical Engineer

Description:

The Electrical Engineer supports the design, development, packaging, testing, and integration efforts of electrical/electronic systems and components that ultimately supports the war-fighter. The qualified candidate will work under general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions. The Electrical Engineer provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

??? Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field and four years relevant experience or two years relevant experience with master's degree.

??? Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge

??? Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.

??? Ability to create and manage interface control documents.

??? Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice)

??? Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results to customers.

Skills Preferred

??? Familiarity with relevant military and commercial design standards

??? Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, LabVIEW

??? Familiarity with computer programming languages, e.g. C, C#, LabWindows/CVI

??? Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio ??? Familiarity with design for components in a high EMI environment

??? Systems Engineering and manufacturing knowledge.
