Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for an Account Executive on the Property & Casualty team in Milwaukee, WI! This candidate will serve as a client contact and respond to our most complex risk management client needs using substantial risk experience to perform critical client functions including: evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; leveraging prepared analytics; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; making recommendations to clients across product lines. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Implements growth and retention strategy and works to meet sales goals. Drives relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients. Develops knowledge of a client's business and industry and their specific risk profile though their business model, asset portfolio, product and cash flow, loss history, etc. Identifies the client's exposure to loss and the means to address them; predominately through insurance risk transfer. Identifies tolerance to risk retention and service needs and protocols. Negotiates with underwriters on behalf of our clients to develop the best coverage. Creates insurance proposal to compare competitive insurance program options and recommend the best program for our clients. Manage the day-to-day activities of the endorsed programs. Have full understanding and knowledge of the underwriting, coverage offered, endorsements, exclusions on the programs. Act as the first point of contact for insureds. Prepare the bi-annual / annual stewardship reports for all programs. Coordinate marketing activities with producers. Monitors the risk transfer process: binder issuance, policy issuance reviews, service delivery, certificates of insurance, etc., for accuracy and timeliness. Accurately completes the Renewal Information Request. Develops and maintains relationships with underwriters and other service providers. Keeps abreast of changing market conditions and innovations. Promptly and accurately responds to client requests. If responsibilities are delegated, follows through to ensure client received timely response. Responsible for Service duties on all accounts until an account manager is hired. Participates in identifying new business opportunities and goes out of prospect calls with Producers. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 8+ years of experience servicing, online quoting, and marketing all lines of insurance coverage. College degree preferred. Must have a current P & C insurance license. Able to demonstrate an expert level of knowledge with all assigned products, insurance coverages, services, policies, pricing, placement of coverage, regulations and benefits of each and manage own book. Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to connect with an audience and speak persuasively and succinctly. Demonstrates good listening skills to enhance understanding and probes effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Understands client profitability through an understanding of income, expenses and time utilized related to specific client needs. Good keyboard and PC skills using word processing and spreadsheet software, familiarity with various software applications (AMS360) and the ability to learn new software systems. Participates in continuing education in order to maintain the appropriate level of credentials.
