Description
The Financial Adviser Assistant plays a critical role in the smooth functioning of the office. With overall responsibilities pertaining to the firm's investment business as well as case development, the Adviser assistant must be able to work effectively with other staff members, clients, and the Financial Advisers.
Responsibilities & Activities
Effective and meaningful client communication; in person, in writing, and via telephone.
Meets with clients to complete paperwork and attends periodic client update meetings.
Facilitates trading.
Sends trading-related correspondence to clients.
Follows up with clients as needed to make sure all paperwork is processed.
Develops processes and systems to organize and track multiple detailed tasks.
Manages assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
_Required:_
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
Ability to handle multiple tasks and operate within tight deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
_Preferred:_
At least two years of experience in a financial services firm assisting with day-to-day operations.
A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Insurance and Securities licenses are required however strong, unlicensed candidates will be considered if they are willing to obtain these licenses.
Salary is negotiable with experience and licensing.
