This role will be performed at the client site in Jamestown, North Dakota. The Senior Office Engineer will perform duties according to the Black Hills Area QA plan and the Pipestem Spillway Modification Project QA Plan. + Perform work with construction submittal reviews and provide appropriate comments to the (COR) Contracting Officer's Representative. + Perform modification work for all stages of a modification, including drafting Basic Change Documents (BCD), Pre-Negotiation Objectives Memorandum (POM), draft SF-30 contractual modification language, Prepare Post-Negotiation Objectives Memorandum (POM), and other work associated with modification work. + Perform site inspections and provide input as to constructability and identify issues with work progress. + Attend meetings. + Personnel may be requested to provide training in proper inspection techniques to government employees, junior government employees, and government hired students. + Write reports as needed. Additional Information: Work 8 hours per day (Monday through Friday), plus OT as needed during active construction, which will include weekends and all hours of the day (including all nights) as needed. Work hours will be reduced during winter months/non-construction times.
