Elections Coordinator and Extension Office Technician

The Election Coordinator is responsible for daily maintenance of the State Voter Registration System and coordinating all elections for Wadena County. This position prepares all elections on the required websites, orders the ballots and supplies needed for each election, programs each Poll Pad (to register voters at each precinct) as well as set up and test all equipment used in the election. In addition, this position supervises the Elections Assistant and prepare material and teach training sessions for all of the election judges used in Wadena County precincts. This position is also responsible for the County Property, Liability and lnland Marine Insurance for Wadena County. This position is also responsible for the day-to-day operation support of the Wadena County Extension Office.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Requires High School diploma or equivalent and;
· Some specialized training in elections; and
· Three years of experience in elections.

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm

WAGE RANGE: $21.53 to $29.35 per hour (starting wage dependent on qualifications)
