Job Summary: The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for emergency repairs, testing, modifications, commissioning, and warranty service on low and medium voltage electrical power distribution and control equipment and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities:

Responsible for hands-on execution of projects including Startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, engineering, design, and repair of power delivery and generator equipment. Power delivery includes transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, busways, Uninterruptable Power Sources (UPS), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Protective Relays, Power Management Control systems and other power related equipment & controls.
- Troubleshooting and operation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Installation, troubleshooting, and design of 480VAC/12.47KVAC, switchgear, ATS, circuit breakers and generator system controls.
- Troubleshooting of various Diesel isochronous governing systems controlling engine-generators and circuit breakers.

Inspections, Testing and Repair on low and medium, voltage power control systems and distribution switchboards.
- Provide customer technical support and training on related system equipment.
- Prepare and maintain detailed design markup documents, reports, checklists, test reports, MOPs, SOPs, SOOs, and electrical drawings.
- Integrate system controls with customer SCADA systems utilizing industry protocols (Modbus, DNP, BACnet, etc )

Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws. A working knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E safety rules, laws and regulations concerning job site and electrical safe work practices.
