Engineering Project Manager

What You Will Experience in this position: Lead teams to develop and design products from Discover, through Develop and Deploy and launch in a timely manner. Partner with Product Management and Engineering Project Leader to survey our industry to identify vectors of growth and disruption, and then develop products and technologies that can be applied to address the identified vectors. Lead simultaneous multi-functional teams that launch products by taking market specifications from design to prototype to production. This can also cover both branded platform products, and products engineered for specific customer application Drive, coordinate and maintain development schedules Partner with Sales and Marketing to partner with customers, engage in industry partnership, and establish other relationships enabling us to advance our product and technology reach Lead and partner with engineers and designers related to product design activities Translate customer needs into product specifications Apply specific technological expertise to specific projects Direct outside activities such as regulatory or other third party testing Partner with Engineering to establish test specifications and protocols Assist in the development of product roadmaps You have: BS in engineering required, Master's degree preferred 5+ years of related engineering experience 2+ years of project management and/or leading teams experience Provide work direction to work teams to improve efficiency, effectiveness and collaboration Establish a team environment with open communication, identifying problems and establishing resolutions Promote the sharing of knowledge to strengthen technical depth of staff, ensure adaptable operational support, and enable process improvements Hybrid work environment Approximately 10% of domestic travel with the potential for international travel is required We have: A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day We are a $2.5 billion, high-performance electrical company with a dedicated team of 9,500+ people and trusted brands such as CADDY, ERICO, HOFFMAN, RAYCHEM, SCHROFF and TRACER.
