Desktop Publisher

We are currently looking to hire a person for ‘desktop publishing’. The successful candidate will process and edit  technical publication documents, as well as edit photos for publications and other publication work as needed. 

This will be a FT Position, with daytime hours Monday – Friday. 

Multitech, Inc. is a technical publication company that creates and maintains technical support literature in the  form of Service and Operator Manuals, Kit Installation Instructions, Parts Catalogs and training material for our  client’s manufactured products. 

Responsibilities: 

• Review and equipment sales / delivery documents for accuracy. 
• Edit photos for publications with Photoshop 
• Edit technical publications (as needed) 

Job Requirements: The successful candidates must have: 

• Software experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel)  
• Software experience with: 
  • Adobe Acrobat 
  • Adobe Photoshop 
  • Adobe InDesign 
• Ability to learn new computer software as needed 
• Organizational skills 
• Proofreading skills 
• Attention to detail 
• Teamwork skills 

Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, dedicated and take pride in the work you do. Must work well with existing personnel.
