Frito Lay, Inc. , a division of PepsiCo, is currently interviewing for a full-time position supporting our potato trialing program and farm operations in Rhinelander, WI, 54501.

Farm/Variety Trials Technician 2: This full-time position supports our potato variety field trial program and farm operations and will include support of manual field and greenhouse activities such as planting, weeding, plant condition assessment, harvest activities, and other related duties as assigned. The role requires data entry along with attention to detail, adherence and contributions to safety programs, the ability to lift 50 lbs. , as well as the ability to be trained for and maintain a forklift license. Moderate computer skills required and Microsoft Excel/Word advanced capability preferred, as well as any previous farm, laboratory, or greenhouse experience.

The standard workday is 7:00-3:30, M-F and requires infrequent overnight travel and weekend work/up to 50 hours.week during planting and harvest seasons.
