Summary: The maintenance technician at WDAY maintains the buildings and grounds of WDAY-TV and the WDAY Tower.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee and monitor building maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Oversee custodial services and supplies.
  • Oversee groundskeeping and snow removal.
  • Work with engineering staff and contractors.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
  • Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Basic Carpentry.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with employees and tenants of the buildings in a pleasant manner.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building.
  • Strong attention to detail.
