YOUR ROLE

· Maintains compliance with all applicable Environmental regulations. This includes Title V Air Permit, Tier II, Toxic Release Inventory, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures, Wastewater and Stormwater

· Provide environmental training to new and existing employees.

· Performs field inspections of equipment, processes, and property to identify opportunities to improve environmental performance.

· Interfaces with internal and external suppliers regarding environmental related items and assists in the purchasing of related items.

· Manages records for multiple databases and systems including metrics, training records, site compliance calendar, SHE com entries, and inspection reports.

· Support continuous improvement programs

· Represents Henkel during environmental regulatory inspections and activities.

· Works as part of an overall Safety, Health and Environmental team

YOUR SKILLS

· Bachelor's of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field

· 5+ years experience with a minimum of 3-5 yrs in an environmental role in a chemical manufacturing setting required

· Certified Hazardous Materials Manager preferred

· Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate 24/7 operation

· Effective communication skills both written and verbal

· Excellent presentation skills

· Previous experience in working directly with environmental agencies required.
