The University of Virginia School of Law seeks applications to ???ll one or more lecturer/adjunct faculty positions for the 2022-23 academic year. These lecturer/adjunct faculty positions are part-time, non-tenure-track, and without bene???ts ("faculty wage"), and they typically involve teaching one upper-level elective course during the fall or spring semester of the academic year. Adjunct faculty generally teach courses that are not regularly taught by the Law School's resident faculty. For a list of recently taught courses, see the Law School web site ( ).

A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. law school, is strongly preferred. Candidates will be evaluated based on years and level of experience, subject-area needs, and commitment to teaching.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
