THE JOB
This is a Regulatory Affairs Specialist position and requires someone who has exposure to product development and commercialization processes . As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist your roles and responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the collection, distribution, storage, and tracking and retrieval of information pertinent to the regulatory review and approval process, including the development and management of internal processes and tools.
  • Complete regulatory assessments in support of R&D product development efforts and customer inquiries, identify regulatory concerns, and work with others within Regulatory Affairs to address more complex matters.
  • Manage and track queries and commitments from internal and external business partners, including the development and management of internal tracking processes and tools.
  • Promote regulatory awareness and competency by creating and delivering training programs for internal business partners that provide the fundamentals of regulatory compliance, and internal processes and tools to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of food and medical packaging regulations, and identify and address pending regulatory changes
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Regulatory Affairs Specialist who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Regulatory Affairs Specialist would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
  • Experience interacting with customers.
  • Experience in facilitating information system standards and project management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance
