Job Family : Sustainability Consulting Travel Required : Up to 25% Clearance Required : None What You Will Do : We are seeking an individual to drive growth and customer satisfaction in Guidehouse's Energy Providers Practice through crafting, selling, and at times overseeing delivery of mobility opportunities to support our clients in navigating the evolving transition to a clean, sustainable transportation and mobility future. We support market actors across the ecosystem, including utilities & energy providers, automakers, equipment manufacturers, service providers, and governments in developing next-generation transportation products and services. Our team members manage their own tasks, schedules, internal / external networks, and project teams carrying out business and technical analyses to deliver high quality client work. Our consultants must demonstrate considerable business acumen and focus on maximizing client value. Responsibilities include: + Working directly with clients to develop EV charging infrastructure deployment strategic plans, business cases, and cost/benefit and other analyses to maximize client value while also limiting risk focused on our state and local government clients. + Selling and delivering EV charging infrastructure deployment solutions that produce outcomes for clients through end-to-end, turnkey program models. + Developing/expanding long-term client relationships with state and local government clients that will lead to repeat business, meeting and exceeding sales targets set. + Working in concert with Account Leaders, Mobility Solutions team, and other team members on key accounts to develop, pursue, and close new EV charging infrastructure deployment consulting engagements. + Building deep trusted advisor relationships with key state and local government client stakeholders. + Collaborating with senior consulting professionals in our delivery and solutions teams across Guidehouse to incorporate a broader range of Guidehouse offerings into mobility opportunities within our state and local government clients. + Architect proposal development and participate in the sales cycle process. + Preparing and presenting analysis, reports, and other documents for internal and/or external client use. + Provide subject matter expertise for sales and delivery efforts. + Leading teams (small and large) for projects requiring multiple resources. + Managing multiple projects simultaneously within budget and schedule. + Contributing strategic industry, subject matter expertise and thought leadership on project assignments within the business unit or elsewhere within the organization. + Providing mentoring to junior level staff. + Support mobility solutions go-to-market strategic cross-market planning activities. + Solution Go-To-Market Lead: Leverage working knowledge of the transportation electrification industry to identify unmet client needs and sell solution options. + Solution Delivery: Implement EV charging infrastructure deployment solution processes and procedures from startup through launch and steady-state operations including stakeholder engagement, marketing & outreach, data collection, and business process management. What You Will Need : + Associate's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Public Policy, or relevant discipline AND 12+ years' experience in transportation electrification industry. Experience should include 5 plus years' of EV charging infrastructure experience. + Executive level energy business experience with a deep background and understanding about the integration transportation electrification solutions and energy markets. + Strong transportation electrification network and executive level relationships to generate qualified leads for business development pursuits. + Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with high degree of self-confidence and determination. + Highly developed organizational and management skills and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities without diminished effectiveness. + Able to travel via airplane with minimal assistance to client sites across the U.S. and potentially internationally. + Ability to work individually, as part of a team, or leading a team. + Reviewing and at times preparing and delivering reports, presentations, and other documents for client deliverables. + Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare, analyze, and transmit data. + Familiarity working with the latest collaborative software platforms and tools that facilitate team collaboration. + Due to nature of contracts, US Citizenship restriction apply. + Must be available work Eastern Time zone hours. + The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described. + This position is open virtually to candidates from Eastern Time Zone + The salary range for this role may vary based on degree, work experience and location. What Would Be Nice To Have : + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Public Policy, or relevant discipline AND 10+ years' experience in transportation electrification industry to include 5 plus years' experience of EV charging service provider + Experience selling mobility / transportation electrification solutions to state and local government clients. + Experience delivering and managing EV charging infrastructure deployment strategy, design, implementation, or evaluation solutions to utility clients. + 3-5 years of strategic and/or management consulting experience. + Strong understanding of emerging mobility technology product and service diffusion (e.g., automated driving, wireless charging, smart charging). + Working knowledge of some or all of the following: transportation market in the U.S. (global knowledge a plus), electrification options, how vehicles impact electricity markets, energy efficiency, renewable energy, alternative fuel adoption in the commercial vehicle industry, demand response, smart grid and related topics in North America (global knowledge a plus). + Business development experience managing a pipeline of six and seven figure engagements. The annual salary range for this position is $111,300.00-$222,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
