Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician provides general maintenance to the presses, cutters and finishing production lines to ensure they are working effectively including: Troubleshooting, Repairing, Installing, and Adjusting parts. This position works Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-12:00am.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine maintenance checks on all equipment and follows preventative maintenance procedures
  • Ensures we are following proper procedures in regards to safety and OSHA regulations; administers lock-out tag-out procedures on any unsafe equipment that is in need of repairs
  • Supports the installation, development and startup of new processes
  • Properly documents procedures and maintain maintenance records
  • Maintain inventory and good repair of all assigned tools and equipment
  • Communicate essential information regarding incomplete repairs at shift change
  • Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Technician or equivalent
  • Knowledge of electrical power and control voltage
  • Troubleshooting PLC devices, printers and labeler; Pneumatic and hydraulic
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic wiring diagrams
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Forklift and scissor lift experience
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout shift
