Position Summary Manager - Learning and Development - Government and Public Services - Engagement Management Lifecycle Portfolio - Operational and Delivery Excellence Curriculum Do you enjoy working with clients on projects which promote a holistic approach to learning and development and are looking to take your career to the next level? Work you'll do As a GPS L&D Manager, you will actively focus on the strategy, development, and execution of Operational Excellence (OpX) and Delivery Excellence (DE) curriculum within the Engagement Management Lifecycle (EML) portfolio. Responsibilities will include: Collaborate with GPS L&D, OpX, and DE leadership to develop the OpX and DE curriculum learning strategies, ensuring alignment with National L&D strategy, and focusing on innovation and nano technology Support efforts to upskill GPS practitioners on conducting business operations and effectively delivering work within the GPS industry and for GPS clients Manage the development and execution of learning programs related to GPS Operations and Delivery processes including, but not limited to: Operations and technology Engagement financial management Contracts Security Delivery enablement Delivery transformation Risk Serve as a strategic advisor and driver, coordinating meetings/working sessions with internal teams, SMEs, vendors, and GPS leadership Use critical thinking skills to identify, research, and analyze program impact and recommend solutions for improvement Complete program management tasks including: Manage vendors and process invoices Coordinate communications plan for courses Manage deliverable repository for OpX and DE courses Manage OpX and DE curriculum pipeline Submit change request submission Complete and submit operational forms Review deliverables for accuracy and quality Manage preparation process for program deliveries (coordinate facilitators, event invites, advertising, course material distribution, enrollment tracking, etc.) Qualifications Required: Minimum 5 years of Learning and Development experience Demonstrated, end-to-end project/program management experience: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project close Demonstrated consultative approach: excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills, including experience owning client relationships with senior leaders Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce deliverables that carry a "stamp of excellence." Up to 20% travel could be required based on role responsibilities Preferred: Experience with Deloitte GPS, Sales Excellence, Operational Excellence or Delivery Excellence a plus Advanced degrees or certifications in Adult Learning, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or Business Administration The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
