We're looking for a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Engineer is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our client's business ( multiple U.S remote locations will be considered ). Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You will have the opportunity to thrive among a collaborative and innovative team of designers and engineers of multiple disciplines to deliver a variety of functions, including assist with or take ownership for writing the BIM Execution Plan and defining the BIM scope. You will implement company/client BIM standards on projects, work with space coordinators to ensure designers are producing clash adjudicated designs, and support the continued implementation/transition of BIM on the client site. You'll help us engage with clients and subcontractors as you assist project teams with set-up and utilization of NavisWorks and 3D Software for the construction of our client's advanced facilities and participate in Design Review and Clash Resolution meetings. Working together, we'll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future - big and small, global, and local. Here's What You'll Need: + At least 4 years of experience serving as a BIM Subject Matter Expert for projects with the ability to trouble shoot problems both with the software and the way the users are using it + A passionate leader with strong communication, organization, and analytical skills + Ability to lead and influence technology improvements + Proficiency with Revit + Proficiency with Navisworks Manage, including the ability to setup clash reports, rules, & selection sets and run clash meetings Ideally, you will also have: + Proficiency with AutoCAD + Background or industry experience in one of the MEP disciplines + Experience with Revit across multiple disciplines + Ability to write batch, script, and other automation programs + Provide Navisworks and other training as required + Develop technical information and presentation material for response to RFP + Research and stay informed on BIM related software and technologies + Participate in user group meetings for BIM related software \ At Jacobs, we help prepare people for new opportunities and challenges.
