Position summary For this position, the Project Manager will have a dual role: coordinating and assigning pursuit resources, in addition to serving as a project manager on audit pursuits as part of a broader support team. Client service excellence, strong organizational skills, and flexibility to manage several requests at once are imperative for the role. To see what it's like to work in pursuits at Deloitte and how you fit in, please watch this brief video: Deployment management Create and assign pursuit professionals across a variety of disciplines (e.g., pursuit managers, designers, project managers), building teams for numerous concurrent strategic pursuits and projects. Through both correspondence and live conversation, gather information on pursuit and project requests and evaluate for scale, complexity, and method of supporting. Manage resourcing requests against pursuit support metrics and workload to ensure the appropriate allocation of resources. Monitor active pursuits and projects throughout their lifecycle, assisting in resolving schedule conflicts and making any necessary resource adjustments. Lead and collaborate on pursuit team discussions with other team managers. Serve as the primary point of contact for issue escalation and managing solutions. Proactively manage the online project tracking system for planning near/long range resource availability. Using the project tracking system and other methods, analyze pursuit information and develop metrics for reporting, as well as continuous improvement of deployment and operations. Pursuit project management Facilitate the best approach for supporting projects throughout their lifecycle, including daily interactions with client service professionals and fellow Pursuit Management team members. Responsiveness, project management discipline and attention to detail, and strong interpersonal communication are keys to being successful in this position. Leverage existing Project Management tools and best practices. Understand RFP requirements and project objectives and appropriately assign tasks. Assess activity effort and create project schedules. Establish clear and realistic objectives. Demonstrate leadership and teamwork through active participation in large project/pursuit planning meetings. The successful candidate will possess: High motivation for project excellence with a sense of urgency to respond quickly to internal stakeholders. The ability to work independently, making informed decisions with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment. Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, and gain commitment at all levels of the organization. Flexibility and availability to work across time zones (US and India) as needed. Strong executive presence, with experience developing and delivering internal presentations. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience working independently, as well as collaboratively across large teams. Qualifications Required: 8 + years of project management experience 3+ years of professional experience in marketing and business development Bachelor's degree and/or similar in-the-field experience Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies Advanced Microsoft Office skills Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Preferred: PMP Certification or equivalent One year experience using Workfront Experience in professional services environment preferred The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,425 to $159,165.
