Program Manager Twin Rivers Council for the Arts is seeking a Program Manager dedicated to managing and executing the various community arts programs on behalf of Twin Rivers Council for the Arts. Position Summary The Program Manager will work under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors to administer the various programs and commitments of the organization. The Program Manager is responsible for the organization's consistent achievement of its mission, programmatic and financial objectives, as well as adherence to core principals. This is a full time, exempt position, with paid time off, holidays and a healthcare allowance. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS The Program Manager will be thoroughly committed to the organization's mission: to create an atmosphere or environment that supports creatives, educates the community on the value of the creative sector and integrates the arts into the fabric of our lives. All candidates should have proven program management, nonprofit or arts administration experience. Concrete demonstrable experience and other qualifications include: 1. Unwavering commitment to quality art programming and data-driven evaluation. Past success working within a nonprofit or entrepreneurial organization and collaborating with outside vendors and stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people and community entities. Ability to multi-task and manage a large calendar of events with various deadlines. A passion for the arts and growing art programming in Southern Minnesota LICENSES/OTHER Full access to a vehicle and ability to work flexible hours to fulfill responsibilities of position. Valid driver's license, clean DMV record and updated proof of insurance to work. Clear criminal background screening and positive credit report. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated ability to work successfully with colleagues, volunteers, artists, and community entities at every level. Past experience in program coordinating or event management preferred. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Core Responsibilities: Work to promote innovative program services and practices that fulfill the organization's mission. Work to ensure high-quality programs and customer satisfaction. Seek opportunities to serve and partner with additional constituents and organizations in the community. Administrative Responsibilities: Jointly with the Board of Directors, assure that the organization successfully manages its current programming commitments including: CityArt, Best In Art, Art Boards Billboard Project, and other activities as needed. Maintain official records and documents, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Provide leadership in managing programs as well as organizational and financial plans with the Board of Directors and staff, and carry out plans and policies authorized by the board. Oversee and coordinate events sponsored by the organization to ensure high quality. Help to manage our Fiscal Agency responsibilities working with other small non-profits and artists Financial Responsibilities: Maintain accurate program budgets Help write and manage grants to support new or existing program needs Provide accurate and timely reports to committees and board members Please submit a cover letter of interest and resume to Steve Jameson, Board President, at Closing date for acceptance will be on or before February 10, 2023.
